Embark on an exciting railway adventure across the great cities of Europe at the dawn of the 20th century! In Ticket to Ride: Europe, players compete to build railway lines connecting various cities throughout the European continent.
Each player collects train cards of different colors and uses them to claim railway routes on the map. The goal is to complete secret routes (Destination Tickets) that require connecting two specific cities. As the game progresses, routes fill up and the competition for strategic connections becomes increasingly intense.
The Europe edition introduces new elements such as Tunnel Routes, which add an extra dose of risk and luck, Ferry Routes that require Locomotive (wild) cards to cross water passages, and Train Stations that allow players to borrow an opponent’s route to complete their own tickets. The player who earns the most points from routes, completed tickets, and the Longest Continuous Route bonus (European Express Bonus) wins the title of Europe’s greatest railway magnate!
