Excellent Monitor Controller. No change in sound since it is passive and very useful that it has RCA and stereo 1/8 input (I have connected a turntable to one input and the sound card to the other).

The controller is excellent for its price. The build quality and button feel are superb, if we overlook a minor glitch during selection. The option of having inputs and outputs at the back is rather useful compared to having only 1/4 TRS, like in the Mackie's big knob. The design is futuristic and the size is compact enough to not take up much space. For this price, it is excellent.
