_CHESS_

Chess is a strategic intellectual game, with the earliest rules dating back to the 5th century AD in India, over 1500 years ago. There is much evidence confirming this - as many excavations and records in old libraries testify. It was introduced to Europe about 1000 years ago, in Poland, around 800 years ago. Today, chess is a game known all over the world. The classic game of chess is played between two people. The chessboard is divided into 64 squares: light and dark (alternately), conventionally called – white and black. The most important character in chess is the king. The aim of the game is to "checkmate" the opponent's king. The player who accomplishes this first wins.
_CHECKERS_
Before the start of the game, we place the pieces on the outer lines, on the dark squares. The middle lines remain empty. The aim of the game is to remove all the opponent's pieces or block all those remaining on the board, depriving the opponent of the ability to move. The pieces can move one square forward diagonally (in line). A piece is removed by jumping over the opponent's adjacent piece (or king) to a free square directly behind it diagonally. Removed pieces are taken off the board after completing the move. Pieces can capture both forward and backward. In one move, it is allowed to make more than one capture with the same piece, overcoming the opponent's subsequent pieces (kings). Captures are mandatory. A piece that reaches the last line of the board becomes a king. Kings can move in one move for any number of squares forward or backward diagonally, stopping on free squares. Capture with a king is possible from any distance along the diagonal and is carried out by jumping over an opponent's piece (or king), with at least one free square behind it.
