The new image sensor and BIONZ XR system of the α1 offer 8K 30p video recording for incredible realism. 4K resolution by 4, with full functionality Real-time Tracking and Real-time Eye AF. Additionally, 8K recordings provide ideal editing flexibility in 4K.
4K Video at 120fps
The α1 supports 4K movie recording at a frame rate of 120 fps, for smooth, artistic slow-motion playback up to 5x. The new image sensor and BIONZ XR system minimize image distortion. The impressive image quality is a product of the 10-bit 4:2:2 color sampling system combined with Long-GOP or Intra (All-I) compression.
