The problem with watercolor when you want to paint outside, for example in nature or on a trip, is the hassle with water and everything else you need to use watercolors. This brush solves those problems in a better way than I expected! You don't need jars of water, you don't need soap to clean your good brushes, etc. It's the best in its category and I was wrong not to trust it to try it for years. It frees you up for a quick sketch wherever you are. The water flow is easily controlled, it's comfortable in every way, and the bristles are completely different from what I expected. They clean much more easily, simply by squeezing a little water from the body and passing the brush 2-3 times on a paper or cloth. As soon as I tried it, I said I would immediately get another one, I was so satisfied. I recommend this brand (Pentel) in Medium to start, check it out and if the size doesn't work for you, it comes in 2 other sizes and in Flat.

I bought it to use it with my daughter (almost 4 years old) and it literally solved our hands because you don't need a separate water cup, just a wet napkin to clean it, you avoid a lot of mess, so we take it everywhere and draw!

Since I am an amateur, I do not have an accurate opinion, but it helped me a lot in its use. You just need to learn to control the amount you press so that it does not release too much water. It paints evenly and has a nice tip!

The synthetic bristle is excellent! After 8 years of use, it has just now started to wear out "at the tip", which is why I ordered a new one - but even now it still maintains its shape!

I really liked the medium because you could go from a very thin line to quite thick, and the reservoir never leaks.
