Quite reliable compared to others of similar price. I have an older blue one, of the same design. I have tested it against blood gas measurements and I trust it. Among the so-called cheap ones, it is the most reliable I have found. Of course, you need to know the basic rules of oximetry. Wait a little until the real value is recorded (usually the first few seconds the readings are low and then they rise). Try it on different fingers and the one that shows the highest value is the real one. The fingers should not be cold.

It does its job accurately, in 3 measurements the result does not deviate more than 3-5%. It is also quite sturdy compared to much cheaper Chinese ones

I have had it for a month and I use it every day, many times a day, for my bedridden father.
I use it simultaneously with one from Meditech, for greater reliability in the measurements.

I bought it in mid-October 2021. I avoided giving an evaluation because I didn't have a point of comparison. Recently, we caught COVID-19 within our family from our daughter. My wife and I were taking daily measurements. One day, we went to the hospital for tests. There, they measured us with the hospital oximeter and the readings matched the Beurer PO 45. So, I consider it reliable.
