    My bathroom has a light fixture that takes 4 of these. At some point, one of the old ones I had burned out, a different brand, with lower brightness. I bought two of these to replace the burnt one and to avoid it being asymmetrical in case it was somehow different in color, etc. (it wasn't, it matched very well with the old ones).

    They didn't last three months, while the two old ones are still working fine. I thought maybe it was because they have higher wattage and overheat, but I don't feel any temperature difference when I touch them. Both the old and the new ones are warm after a while, but not intensely, I can leave my hand on them.
