Description

The purpose of this work is to describe the Great Dramas caused by the "Satan" of Division among the Greeks, as well as the Great Miracles that were created by national unity and the harmony of the Greeks throughout our history.

Specifically, after explaining the concepts of division and harmony regarding the character of the Greeks, the following is summarized:

- The Great miracle of the victories of the united Greeks during the Persian Wars, which subsequently led to the "Golden Age," as well as the Great tragedy of the Peloponnesian War, which destroyed Greece.

- Hellenism in Macedonia, which under Alexander the Great led the Greeks to the complete destruction of the Persian empire, spreading Greek culture throughout the world, the subsequent division of Alexander's empire among his successors, who with their civil conflicts made it prey to Roman dominance.

- The decline and fall of the Byzantine Empire that led to Turkish rule and the Great miracle, after about 400 years, of the Greek Revolution of 1821, which once again raised Greece to the stage of History.

- The epic of the Balkan Wars 1912-13 with the doubling of Greece, the National Division 1914-17 that withered Greece and the Asia Minor Catastrophe in 1922 that brought tremendous suffering to Hellenism.

- The epic of 1940 that evoked admiration from all in the East and West, as well as the universal National Resistance of the Greeks (1941-45) against the forces of the triple occupation (Germans, Italians, and Bulgarians).

- The Great drama of the Armed Greek Civil War (1946-49) that caused the greatest destruction in our Country in the 20th century.

- The Cypriot tragedy, where the English policy of "divide and conquer" and our own mistakes (of mainland Greeks and Greek Cypriots) turned Cyprus into a hostage of Turkey with 38% of its territory occupied and 35,000 occupying troops on it.

- As a conclusion, the stance that we must adopt as Greeks for the preservation of our Homeland at the highest pedestal it deserves is emphasized.
