The wild cat that needed to be neutered – because she was giving birth non-stop – was caught in 3 seconds after I placed the canned food inside... and I was worried she might get hurt because the door is heavy, so as a test I put a carrot and it snapped it in two! But it was my only hope, the cat couldn't be caught any other way. Quick and easy, the kitty went to the vet and came back the same day, all good! The cage is a bit heavy though.

Absolute success. I read many comments and was worried, but it catches cats of every size (tested from a 6-week-old kitten to a huge stray tomcat) within a few minutes. No change to the mechanism needed.
Update:
Even huge male cats can easily turn their bodies inside the trap, but no matter how much they thrash, they don’t get injured, as there are no sharp points. Especially if you cover it with fabric, the animals calm down and remain still. This trap is not a residence cage, but a temporary means. Its size is perfectly calculated, unless we’re talking about adult Maine Coon cats!
Success Tips:
- Place the trap in a secluded and flat area.
- Ideally, cover it with some fabric and leave only the opening exposed. This creates a sense of security for the cats, both before and after entering, so they don’t get scared and thrash around. There’s also the option of camouflaging with branches and leaves.
- It also helps to attach something like a sponge cloth or similar material (with holes and thin wire) at the spot where the door falls, so it doesn’t make a loud metallic noise that scares all the animals. Anyway, even if the door falls as is on the tail of an adult cat, it doesn’t injure it, as I found out. However, the noise helps you hear that something has been caught in the trap.
- Place a piece of cardboard or newspaper cut to the size of the entire bottom, so the step isn’t visible.
- Put a small amount of very smelly wet cat food at the back of the trap, preferably tuna/fish. Near the trap door, scatter 2-3 pieces of the food as bait, so the animal moves further inside. There’s no need to fit a bowl, just put the food directly on the newspaper/cardboard. (After all, for neutering, the animals should be as hungry as possible.)
- Set up the trap mechanism and move away, but don’t leave the area for hours. Generally, it helps if you’re used to feeding the animals for some time, but skip an entire day before the trapping attempt, so they’re very hungry and go into the trap. You may need to release animals you’ve already caught before and reset the trap.
- As soon as the animal is caught (very quickly, in my experience), cover well with fabric from above (ideally place the trap in a long shallow cardboard box with a pad, so you don’t make a mess if the cat has an accident).
- Take it to the vet as soon as possible! Don’t try to put it in a carrier or open the door, especially if you have no experience or very thick work gloves, because no matter how tame the animal is, when trapped it gets scared and reacts unpredictably. Bring a special cat carrier with you, so the vet can put the animal inside after the procedure/treatment.
- Clean thoroughly after each use with a special veterinary disinfectant or mix and spray 1 part bleach to 32 parts water, with very good rinsing/drying in the sun.

Απόλυτη επιτυχία. Διάβασα πολλά σχόλια και ανησυχούσα, αλλά πιάνει γάτα κάθε μεγέθους (δοκιμασμένη από γατάκι 6 εβδομάδων μέχρι τεράστιο αδέσποτο γάτο) μέσα σε λίγα λεπτά. Χωρίς κάποια αλλαγή του μηχανισμού.
Update:
Ακόμη και τεράστιοι αρσενικοί γάτοι περιστρέφουν άνετα το σώμα τους μέσα στην παγίδα, αλλά όσο κι αν χτυπηθούν δεν τραυματίζονται, αφού δεν υπάρχει αιχμηρό σημείο. Ειδικά αν καλύψετε με ύφασμα, τα ζώα ηρεμούν και παραμένουν ακίνητα. Η παγίδα αυτή δεν είναι κλουβί διαμονής, αλλά προσωρινό μέσον. Το μέγεθός της είναι απόλυτα μελετημένο, εκτός αν μιλάμε για ενήλικες γάτες ράτσας Maine Coon!
Συμβουλές επιτυχίας:
- Τοποθετήστε την παγίδα σε απόμερη και επίπεδη επιφάνεια.
- Ιδανικά, καλύψτε την με κάποιο ύφασμα και αφήστε μόνο το άνοιγμα. Αυτό δημιουργεί αίσθηση ασφάλειας στις γάτες, τόσο πριν μπουν αλλά και όταν μπουν, ώστε να μην φοβούνται και χτυπιούνται. Υπάρχει και η επιλογή καμουφλαρίσματος με κλαδιά και φύλλα.
- Βοηθάει και το να προσαρμόσετε κάτι σαν σπογγοπετσέτα ή αντίστοιχο υλικό (με τρύπες και λεπτό σύρμα) στο σημείο όπου πέφτει η πόρτα, ώστε να μην κάνει δυνατό μεταλλικό θόρυβο και τρομάζουν όλα τα ζώα. Πάντως, και να πέσει ως έχει η πόρτα σε ουρά ενήλικης γάτας, δεν την τραυματίζει, όπως διαπίστωσα. Ο θόρυβος όμως βοηθάει και στο να ακούσετε ότι κάτι πιάστηκε στην παγίδα.
- Τοποθετήστε ένα κομμάτι χαρτόνι ή εφημερίδα κομμένα στο μέγεθος ολόκληρου του πάτου, ώστε να μην φαίνεται το σκαλοπάτι.
- Βάλτε στο βάθος της παγίδας μια μικρή ποσότητα πολύ μυρωδάτης υγρής γατοτροφής, κατά προτίμηση τόνο/ψάρι.
Κοντά στην πόρτα της παγίδας σκορπίστε 2-3 κομματάκια της τροφής, ως δέλεαρ, για να προχωρήσει το ζώο και παραμέσα. Δεν χρειάζεται να χωρέσετε κανένα μπολ, ρίξτε σκέτη τροφή επάνω στην εφημερίδα/χαρτόνι. (Άλλωστε για την στείρωση πρέπει να είναι όσο πιο νηστικά γίνεται τα ζώα).
- Στήστε τον μηχανισμό της παγίδας και απομακρυνθείτε, αλλά μην φύγετε για ώρες από το σημείο. Γενικά βοηθάει αν έχετε συνηθίσει να ταΐζετε τα ζώα για κάποιο διάστημα, παραλείποντας όμως μία ολόκληρη ημέρα πριν από την απόπειρα παγίδευσης, ώστε να πεινάνε πολύ και να μπουν στην παγίδα. Ίσως χρειαστεί να απελευθερώσετε ζώα που έχετε ήδη πιάσει παλιότερα, και να ξαναστήσετε την παγίδα.
- Μόλις το ζώο πιαστεί (πάρα πολύ γρήγορα, από την εμπειρία μου), καλύψτε καλά με ύφασμα από πάνω, (ιδανικά τοποθετήστε την παγίδα σε μακρόστενο ρηχό χαρτόκουτο με στρωμένο υποσέντονο, για να μην λερώσετε πουθενά αν έχει ατύχημα το γατί).
- Μεταφέρετε στον κτηνίατρο το συντομότερο! Μην προσπαθήσετε να το βάλετε σε κλουβί μεταφοράς ή να ανοίξετε την πόρτα, ειδικά αν δεν έχετε εμπειρία ή πολύ χοντρά γάντια εργασίας, γιατί όσο ήμερο και να είναι το ζώο, όταν παγιδεύεται φοβάται και αγριεύει με απρόβλεπτο τρόπο. Έχετε μαζί σας και ειδικό κουτί μεταφοράς γάτας, για να βάλει μέσα ο κτηνίατρος το ζώο μετά την επέμβαση/θεραπεία.
- Καθαρίστε καλά μετά από κάθε χρήση με ειδικό κτηνιατρικό απολυμαντικό ή αναμείξτε και ψεκάστε 1 μέρος χλωρίνης σε 32 μέρη νερού με πολύ καλό ξέπλυμα / στέγνωμα στον ήλιο.

I give 4 stars because it is a bit smaller than I imagined, so if you want to catch stray cats for neutering, they might not fit if they are very large. However, it does its job just fine and fits comfortably in the trunk until you go to the vet.
Βάζω 4 αστέρια γιατί είναι λίγο μικρότερο απ όσο φανταζόμουν οπότε αν θέλετε να πιάσετε αδέσποτες γατες για στείρωση ίσως δε χωράνε αν είναι πολύ μεγάλες.
Ωστόσο μια χαρά κάνει τη δουλειά του και μπαίνει άνετα σε πορτ μπαγκαζ μέχρι να πάτε στον κτηνίατρο.
It works but with a low success rate by design. If you leave the bait at the bottom of the cage (after the flat metal surface that triggers the trap), most cats will enter, nibble the bait, and leave without triggering the trap, as they don't need to step on that surface. After getting frustrated (5 times they ate the bait without the door closing), I managed to increase the success rate to 100% by tying the bait with a thin string and the other end of the string to the side lever that commands the door to close. So, as soon as the cat goes to grab the bait, the door will necessarily close. However, be careful, the string should be passed through the outer casing of the cage and be slightly taut so that as soon as the bait is pulled, it triggers the door to close. If it had more depth and you left the bait at the deepest point, perhaps the animal would need to step on the metal plate, and the success rate would be higher. With personal interventions, you can improve the mechanism, dramatically increasing its effectiveness.
Δουλεύει αλλά με μικρό ποσοστό επιστυχίας εκ σχεδιασμού. Αν αφήσετε το δόλωμα στο βάθος του κλουβιού (μετά την επίπεδη μεταλλική επιφάνεια που ξεκινάει την παγίδα) οι περισσότερες γάτες θα μπουν και θα τσιμπήσουν το δόλωμα και θα φύγουν χωρίς να ενεργοποιηθεί η παγίδα, καθώς δεν χρειάζεται να πατήσουν τα πόδια τους στην επιφάνεια αυτή. Αφού απογοητεύτηκα (5 φορές έφαγαν το δόλωμα χωρίς να κλείσει η πόρτα), κατάφερα να αυξήσω το ποσοστό επιτυχίας στο 100% δένοντας το δόλωμα με μια λεπτή κλωστή και την άλλη άκρη της κλωστής με το πλαινό μοχλό που δίνει εντολή να κλείσει η πόρτα. Έτσι, με το που πάει η γάτα να αρπάξει το δόλωμα, η πόρτα θα κλείσει αναγκαστικά. Προσοχή όμως, την κλωστή θα πρέπει να την περάσετε από το εξωτερικό περίβλημα του κλουβιού και να είναι ελαφρώς τεντωμένο ώστε με το που τραβηχτεί το δόλωμα, να ενεργοποιηθεί το κλείσιμο της πόρτας. Αν είχε μεγαλύτερο βάθος και αφήνατε το δόλωμα στο βαθύτερο σημείο, ίσως το ζωντανό να χρειαζόταν να πατήσει πάνω στη μεταλλική πλάκα και το ποσοστό επιτυχίας να ήταν μεγαλύτερο. Με προσωπικές επεμβάσεις μπορείτε να βελτιώσετε το μηχανισμό, αυξάνοντας δραματικά την αποτελεσματικότητα του.
Bought to trap an injured stray cat to take it to the vet. It is very low in height and makes it difficult - discourages entry because it partly scares. It has a moving surface that theoretically the cat will step on to release a latch that keeps the door raised, and then the bait food will go into the back of the cage. The cat entered with difficulty and with the help of very tempting food, but 80% of its body was stepping outside the moving surface and only its folded (due to low height) front legs were stepping at the beginning of the moving surface, resulting in the surface having minimal weight to be pressed enough to release the door. Fortunately, we managed to close it ourselves with difficulty. If we weren't there, the cat would have eaten the food and left, so it would have been a wasted effort and expense. I give one extra star out of goodwill because there aren't many traps of this kind for cats.

Εχει μια κινούμενη επιφάνεια που θεωρητικά θα πατήσει εκεί ο γάτος για να απελευθερώσει αυτή η επιφάνεια ένα έλασμα που κρατάει την πόρτα σηκωμένη και μετά την επιφάνεια αυτή στο βάθος του κλουβιού θα μπεί η τροφή-δόλωμα. Ο γάτος μπήκε δύσκολα και με την επιστράτευση πολύ δελεαστικής τροφής αλλά το 80% του σώματος του πατούσε εκτός της κινούμενης επιφάνειας και μόνο τα διπλωμένα (λογω χαμηλού ύψους) μπροστινά του πόδια πατούσαν στην αρχή της κινούμενης επιφάνεια με αποτέλεσμα η επιφάνεια να έχει ελάχιστο βάρος για να πατηθεί αρκετά και να απελευθερωθεί η πόρτα. Ευτυχώς προλάβαμε και την κλείσαμε εμείς με το ζόρι. Αν δεν είμαστε εκεί ο γάτος θα είχε φάει την τροφή και θα είχε φύγει οπότε τσάμπα κόπος και δαπάνη. Βάζω ένα αστέρι ακόμα χατηρικά γιατι δεν υπάρχουν πολλές παγίδες του είδος για γάτες.
Kids, get it without a second thought. We caught 10 cats for neutering in record time. It works perfectly and fits even large cats. Don't even think about it. Just, because it's not spacious, once you catch the cat, move it to a cat carrier, so it can be comfortable and calm down. Absolute success. I read many comments and was worried, but it catches cats of every size (tested from a 6-week-old kitten to a huge stray tomcat) within a few minutes. No change to the mechanism needed.
Update:
Even huge male cats can easily turn their bodies inside the trap, but no matter how much they thrash, they don’t get injured, as there are no sharp points. Especially if you cover it with fabric, the animals calm down and remain still. This trap is not a residence cage, but a temporary means. Its size is perfectly calculated, unless we’re talking about adult Maine Coon cats!
Success Tips:
- Place the trap in a secluded and flat area.
- Ideally, cover it with some fabric and leave only the opening exposed. This creates a sense of security for the cats, both before and after entering, so they don’t get scared and thrash around. There’s also the option of camouflaging with branches and leaves.
- It also helps to attach something like a sponge cloth or similar material (with holes and thin wire) at the spot where the door falls, so it doesn’t make a loud metallic noise that scares all the animals. Anyway, even if the door falls as is on the tail of an adult cat, it doesn’t injure it, as I found out. However, the noise helps you hear that something has been caught in the trap.
- Place a piece of cardboard or newspaper cut to the size of the entire bottom, so the step isn’t visible.
- Put a small amount of very smelly wet cat food at the back of the trap, preferably tuna/fish. Near the trap door, scatter 2-3 pieces of the food as bait, so the animal moves further inside. There’s no need to fit a bowl, just put the food directly on the newspaper/cardboard. (After all, for neutering, the animals should be as hungry as possible.)
- Set up the trap mechanism and move away, but don’t leave the area for hours. Generally, it helps if you’re used to feeding the animals for some time, but skip an entire day before the trapping attempt, so they’re very hungry and go into the trap. You may need to release animals you’ve already caught before and reset the trap.
- As soon as the animal is caught (very quickly, in my experience), cover well with fabric from above (ideally place the trap in a long shallow cardboard box with a pad, so you don’t make a mess if the cat has an accident).
- Take it to the vet as soon as possible! Don’t try to put it in a carrier or open the door, especially if you have no experience or very thick work gloves, because no matter how tame the animal is, when trapped it gets scared and reacts unpredictably. Bring a special cat carrier with you, so the vet can put the animal inside after the procedure/treatment.
- Clean thoroughly after each use with a special veterinary disinfectant or mix and spray 1 part bleach to 32 parts water, with very good rinsing/drying in the sun.

Απόλυτη επιτυχία. Διάβασα πολλά σχόλια και ανησυχούσα, αλλά πιάνει γάτα κάθε μεγέθους (δοκιμασμένη από γατάκι 6 εβδομάδων μέχρι τεράστιο αδέσποτο γάτο) μέσα σε λίγα λεπτά. Χωρίς κάποια αλλαγή του μηχανισμού.
Update:
Ακόμη και τεράστιοι αρσενικοί γάτοι περιστρέφουν άνετα το σώμα τους μέσα στην παγίδα, αλλά όσο κι αν χτυπηθούν δεν τραυματίζονται, αφού δεν υπάρχει αιχμηρό σημείο. Ειδικά αν καλύψετε με ύφασμα, τα ζώα ηρεμούν και παραμένουν ακίνητα. Η παγίδα αυτή δεν είναι κλουβί διαμονής, αλλά προσωρινό μέσον. Το μέγεθός της είναι απόλυτα μελετημένο, εκτός αν μιλάμε για ενήλικες γάτες ράτσας Maine Coon!
Συμβουλές επιτυχίας:
- Τοποθετήστε την παγίδα σε απόμερη και επίπεδη επιφάνεια.
- Ιδανικά, καλύψτε την με κάποιο ύφασμα και αφήστε μόνο το άνοιγμα. Αυτό δημιουργεί αίσθηση ασφάλειας στις γάτες, τόσο πριν μπουν αλλά και όταν μπουν, ώστε να μην φοβούνται και χτυπιούνται. Υπάρχει και η επιλογή καμουφλαρίσματος με κλαδιά και φύλλα.
- Βοηθάει και το να προσαρμόσετε κάτι σαν σπογγοπετσέτα ή αντίστοιχο υλικό (με τρύπες και λεπτό σύρμα) στο σημείο όπου πέφτει η πόρτα, ώστε να μην κάνει δυνατό μεταλλικό θόρυβο και τρομάζουν όλα τα ζώα. Πάντως, και να πέσει ως έχει η πόρτα σε ουρά ενήλικης γάτας, δεν την τραυματίζει, όπως διαπίστωσα. Ο θόρυβος όμως βοηθάει και στο να ακούσετε ότι κάτι πιάστηκε στην παγίδα.
- Τοποθετήστε ένα κομμάτι χαρτόνι ή εφημερίδα κομμένα στο μέγεθος ολόκληρου του πάτου, ώστε να μην φαίνεται το σκαλοπάτι.
- Βάλτε στο βάθος της παγίδας μια μικρή ποσότητα πολύ μυρωδάτης υγρής γατοτροφής, κατά προτίμηση τόνο/ψάρι.
Κοντά στην πόρτα της παγίδας σκορπίστε 2-3 κομματάκια της τροφής, ως δέλεαρ, για να προχωρήσει το ζώο και παραμέσα. Δεν χρειάζεται να χωρέσετε κανένα μπολ, ρίξτε σκέτη τροφή επάνω στην εφημερίδα/χαρτόνι. (Άλλωστε για την στείρωση πρέπει να είναι όσο πιο νηστικά γίνεται τα ζώα).
- Στήστε τον μηχανισμό της παγίδας και απομακρυνθείτε, αλλά μην φύγετε για ώρες από το σημείο. Γενικά βοηθάει αν έχετε συνηθίσει να ταΐζετε τα ζώα για κάποιο διάστημα, παραλείποντας όμως μία ολόκληρη ημέρα πριν από την απόπειρα παγίδευσης, ώστε να πεινάνε πολύ και να μπουν στην παγίδα. Ίσως χρειαστεί να απελευθερώσετε ζώα που έχετε ήδη πιάσει παλιότερα, και να ξαναστήσετε την παγίδα.
- Μόλις το ζώο πιαστεί (πάρα πολύ γρήγορα, από την εμπειρία μου), καλύψτε καλά με ύφασμα από πάνω, (ιδανικά τοποθετήστε την παγίδα σε μακρόστενο ρηχό χαρτόκουτο με στρωμένο υποσέντονο, για να μην λερώσετε πουθενά αν έχει ατύχημα το γατί).
- Μεταφέρετε στον κτηνίατρο το συντομότερο! Μην προσπαθήσετε να το βάλετε σε κλουβί μεταφοράς ή να ανοίξετε την πόρτα, ειδικά αν δεν έχετε εμπειρία ή πολύ χοντρά γάντια εργασίας, γιατί όσο ήμερο και να είναι το ζώο, όταν παγιδεύεται φοβάται και αγριεύει με απρόβλεπτο τρόπο. Έχετε μαζί σας και ειδικό κουτί μεταφοράς γάτας, για να βάλει μέσα ο κτηνίατρος το ζώο μετά την επέμβαση/θεραπεία.
- Καθαρίστε καλά μετά από κάθε χρήση με ειδικό κτηνιατρικό απολυμαντικό ή αναμείξτε και ψεκάστε 1 μέρος χλωρίνης σε 32 μέρη νερού με πολύ καλό ξέπλυμα / στέγνωμα στον ήλιο.

I give 4 stars because it is a bit smaller than I imagined, so if you want to catch stray cats for neutering, they might not fit if they are very large. However, it does its job just fine and fits comfortably in the trunk until you go to the vet.
Βάζω 4 αστέρια γιατί είναι λίγο μικρότερο απ όσο φανταζόμουν οπότε αν θέλετε να πιάσετε αδέσποτες γατες για στείρωση ίσως δε χωράνε αν είναι πολύ μεγάλες.
Ωστόσο μια χαρά κάνει τη δουλειά του και μπαίνει άνετα σε πορτ μπαγκαζ μέχρι να πάτε στον κτηνίατρο.
It works but with a low success rate by design. If you leave the bait at the bottom of the cage (after the flat metal surface that triggers the trap), most cats will enter, nibble the bait, and leave without triggering the trap, as they don't need to step on that surface. After getting frustrated (5 times they ate the bait without the door closing), I managed to increase the success rate to 100% by tying the bait with a thin string and the other end of the string to the side lever that commands the door to close. So, as soon as the cat goes to grab the bait, the door will necessarily close. However, be careful, the string should be passed through the outer casing of the cage and be slightly taut so that as soon as the bait is pulled, it triggers the door to close. If it had more depth and you left the bait at the deepest point, perhaps the animal would need to step on the metal plate, and the success rate would be higher. With personal interventions, you can improve the mechanism, dramatically increasing its effectiveness.
Δουλεύει αλλά με μικρό ποσοστό επιστυχίας εκ σχεδιασμού. Αν αφήσετε το δόλωμα στο βάθος του κλουβιού (μετά την επίπεδη μεταλλική επιφάνεια που ξεκινάει την παγίδα) οι περισσότερες γάτες θα μπουν και θα τσιμπήσουν το δόλωμα και θα φύγουν χωρίς να ενεργοποιηθεί η παγίδα, καθώς δεν χρειάζεται να πατήσουν τα πόδια τους στην επιφάνεια αυτή. Αφού απογοητεύτηκα (5 φορές έφαγαν το δόλωμα χωρίς να κλείσει η πόρτα), κατάφερα να αυξήσω το ποσοστό επιτυχίας στο 100% δένοντας το δόλωμα με μια λεπτή κλωστή και την άλλη άκρη της κλωστής με το πλαινό μοχλό που δίνει εντολή να κλείσει η πόρτα. Έτσι, με το που πάει η γάτα να αρπάξει το δόλωμα, η πόρτα θα κλείσει αναγκαστικά. Προσοχή όμως, την κλωστή θα πρέπει να την περάσετε από το εξωτερικό περίβλημα του κλουβιού και να είναι ελαφρώς τεντωμένο ώστε με το που τραβηχτεί το δόλωμα, να ενεργοποιηθεί το κλείσιμο της πόρτας. Αν είχε μεγαλύτερο βάθος και αφήνατε το δόλωμα στο βαθύτερο σημείο, ίσως το ζωντανό να χρειαζόταν να πατήσει πάνω στη μεταλλική πλάκα και το ποσοστό επιτυχίας να ήταν μεγαλύτερο. Με προσωπικές επεμβάσεις μπορείτε να βελτιώσετε το μηχανισμό, αυξάνοντας δραματικά την αποτελεσματικότητα του.
Bought to trap an injured stray cat to take it to the vet. It is very low in height and makes it difficult - discourages entry because it partly scares. It has a moving surface that theoretically the cat will step on to release a latch that keeps the door raised, and then the bait food will go into the back of the cage. The cat entered with difficulty and with the help of very tempting food, but 80% of its body was stepping outside the moving surface and only its folded (due to low height) front legs were stepping at the beginning of the moving surface, resulting in the surface having minimal weight to be pressed enough to release the door. Fortunately, we managed to close it ourselves with difficulty. If we weren't there, the cat would have eaten the food and left, so it would have been a wasted effort and expense. I give one extra star out of goodwill because there aren't many traps of this kind for cats.
Αγοράστηκε για να παγιδεύσουμε τραυματισμένο αδέσποτο γάτο να τον πάμε στον κτηνίατρο. Ειναι πολύ χαμηλό σε ύψος και δυσκολεύει - αποτρέπει την είσοδο γιατι εν μέρει φοβίζει. Εχει μια κινούμενη επιφάνεια που θεωρητικά θα πατήσει εκεί ο γάτος για να απελευθερώσει αυτή η επιφάνεια ένα έλασμα που κρατάει την πόρτα σηκωμένη και μετά την επιφάνεια αυτή στο βάθος του κλουβιού θα μπεί η τροφή-δόλωμα. Ο γάτος μπήκε δύσκολα και με την επιστράτευση πολύ δελεαστικής τροφής αλλά το 80% του σώματος του πατούσε εκτός της κινούμενης επιφάνειας και μόνο τα διπλωμένα (λογω χαμηλού ύψους) μπροστινά του πόδια πατούσαν στην αρχή της κινούμενης επιφάνεια με αποτέλεσμα η επιφάνεια να έχει ελάχιστο βάρος για να πατηθεί αρκετά και να απελευθερωθεί η πόρτα. Ευτυχώς προλάβαμε και την κλείσαμε εμείς με το ζόρι. Αν δεν είμαστε εκεί ο γάτος θα είχε φάει την τροφή και θα είχε φύγει οπότε τσάμπα κόπος και δαπάνη. Βάζω ένα αστέρι ακόμα χατηρικά γιατι δεν υπάρχουν πολλές παγίδες του είδος για γάτες.
Kids, get it without a second thought. We caught 10 cats for neutering in record time. It works perfectly and fits even large cats. Don't even think about it. Just, because it's not spacious, once you catch the cat, move it to a cat carrier, so it can be comfortable and calm down. Otherwise, they get agitated inside the trap, and because it's narrow, they risk getting injured. So, catch and carefully transport directly to a cat carrier.
Παιδιά πάρτε τη με τα χίλια. Πιάσαμε 10 γάτες για στείρωση σε χρόνο ρεκόρ. Δουλεύει άψογα και χωράει και μεγάλες γάτες. Μην το σκέφτεστε καν.
Απλά, επειδή δεν είναι ευρύχωρη, μόλις πιάσετε τη γάτα μετακινήστε τη σε γατοφόρο, για να είναι άνετα και να ηρεμήσει. Αλλιώς χτυπιούνται μέσα στην παγίδα, κι επειδή είναι και στενή κινδυνεύουν να τραυματιστουν. Οπότε πιάσιμο και κατευθείαν μεταφορά προσεκτικά σε γατοφόρο.
Extremely effective. I use it to transport my cats (I have several) to the vet. I highly recommend it. My next purchase will be the same cage in a larger size to make the transportation more comfortable.

Very good quality and durable cage. I bought it to neuter three kittens in the neighborhood and I succeeded. Very satisfied. Barely sufficient for large-sized cats.

The worst thing ever. The door closes even with the wind. It seemed the same as one I had before. Not even close. Cheap construction. Serves me right for being stingy. I won't even comment on the size, only for a mouse, if that... stay away...

The wild cat that needed to be neutered – because she was giving birth non-stop – was caught in 3 seconds after I placed the canned food inside... and I was worried she might get hurt because the door is heavy, so as a test I put a carrot and it snapped it in two! But it was my only hope, the cat couldn't be caught any other way. Quick and easy, the kitty went to the vet and came back the same day, all good! The cage is a bit heavy though.
Η άγρια γάτα που έπρεπε να πάει για στείρωση, - γιατί γεννοβολούσε ασταμάτητα, - πιάστηκε σε 3 δεύτερα αφού τοποθέτησα μέσα την κονσέρβα....κι φοβόμουν μήπως τραυματιστεί γιατί η πόρτα είναι βαριά, για δοκιμή έβαλα ένα καρότο και το'κοψε στα 2! Αλλά ήταν η μόνη μου ελπίδα, η γάτα δεν πιανόταν με τίποτα. Τσακ, μπαμ, η γατούλα πήγε στον κτηνίατρο και γύρισε αυθημερόν, όλα καλά! Λίγο βαρύ το κλουβάκι όμως.
This cat trap is a bit small for normal adult cats because when they step in, the door falls on the back part of their body, they get scared and run away!!
The mechanism should be further forward so that the whole animal is inside.

the door is sensitive and needs careful setup. I would like a bigger gap in front of the pedal so that a bowl with a diameter fits comfortably. other than that, it's fine.
