  • The pump is extremely quiet, it pumps water from the aquarium to the external pump and then is pumped through the biological filter.
  • Mechanical and chemical filtration is done by the filter cartridge/charcoal, while biological filtration is handled by the black sponge.
  • The clean water then returns to the aquarium with a drop over a cleaner, oxygenating the water in the best possible way.
  • The internal cartridges are easy to replace.
  • With a well-designed and unique design for the dispenser, the Niagara is able to automatically restart after power off for service.
  • In order to increase the biological capacity, the black sponge can be replaced with the glass rings or the GlaX ring.
  • For freshwater and saltwater aquariums

    I have the Amtra Niagara 370 very good filter. Very powerful. It even sucks up small plant leaves. Quite quiet, of course you can hear it, it's not for the bedroom in any case. The lid should not touch the filter because it makes a lot of noise, I put plasticine on it. Also, I didn't hang it in the aquarium to save a little more noise and I secured it on top of a glass.
    For filtration, it gets a 5 but for noise, a 3.
    For the money, it's very good and cleans the aquarium perfectly.

    I have had it for a while, it was and still is almost completely silent (although even less without the lid), and it comes fully equipped (sponges, charcoal, etc.). I currently have it temporarily in a 50-liter tank and will transfer it to a 120-liter tank.
