I used this particular case for external backup and its uses were minimal. Unfortunately, today it broke down completely and I had to throw it away. After the first 10 uses, it had already started losing connection with the computer.

Although the build quality seems good, the choice of the USB micro B cable is truly unacceptable and is its biggest drawback. I would suggest choosing another product that has a USB Type-C port, which is much more reliable and modern.

A good case for converting an internal HDD into an external one. It has a relatively simple construction with moderate build quality and relatively easy installation of the disk inside the case. It seems to work well and reliably.

It is beautiful and cheap. It does its job perfectly fine.

Excellent case. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and I tried other ones at this price but this one is by far the best. Firstly, it connects with only one USB and doesn't need a second one for power supply (this always creates connectivity issues), while it is very sturdy and beautiful. The best for its price.

I have been using it for 2 months on my 14'' Mac in a club with lots of vibrations, and it hasn't caused me any problems. It reads any disc I put in without any strange freezing issues that other products in the same price range have. It's worth every penny and more!

Simple case at a good price that works exactly as expected. Although plastic, it is beautiful and has a nice feel. The disc is easily placed without tools and inside the case there are cushions that hold it in place to prevent it from getting scratched.

It is nice and beautiful case! But I wouldn't buy it again because it is simply plastic! And if it falls off the table, it will open and I'm afraid the hard drive will be damaged! Only two stars for the plastic construction!

It has sponges on the right, left, and bottom side, which I personally appreciate. The quality of the materials seems better in the photos, but it is just a nice plastic.

From the writing speed, the same disk in the old USB 2.0 case had a writing speed of 32-38 Mb/s. In this case, it reaches speeds of 125-130 Mb/s. However, for the first time, when I made some recordings from a friend's computer and the next day I connected the disk to my own computer, they were gone. After much effort, I managed to recover the lost files. The same thing happened the second time I wrote some other files. I'm not sure if this is due to the case, but I had to go back to the old case and leave this one in my drawer for now to try it again in the future. That's why I give it 4 stars with reservations, and when I identify the source of the problem, I will come back.

I bought 2 for installing two 1TB HDDs which were replaced with SSDs. The disk was immediately recognized, the data transfer is satisfactory, and one advantage compared to other comments I read on other boxes is that during safe removal, the box terminates the "Spin" of the disk

It served me to the maximum extent. It was worth its money. I transferred the data to the new SSD hard drive that I bought for the laptop, which was "revived". The case now houses the old HDD that I have for backup.

Although I have it for a few days, it seems to work satisfactorily. I put an old 2.5" HDD inside and it recognized it perfectly, as it allowed me to format it without any problem. Be careful when opening the lid to insert the hard drive, as it requires quite a bit of pressure and you may break the plastic if you're not careful. One negative aspect that I can mention is that its cable is specific to this device (or at least I haven't encountered this type of cable before), so if it breaks, I don't know how one can find a replacement. However, the cable seems to be of very good quality, so with a little caution, this wouldn't worry me too much.

Installation of the disk is very easy, without screws and perfect fit. I don't have an opinion on speed, however, for installing an old HDD disk, it is just what I needed.

It looks very good in quality and appearance, just needs a little attention when opening it when it's empty because the lid is very tight.

I tried installing a Samsung SSD and it reached 530MB/s on CrystalDiskMark with USB3.0.

One disadvantage is that it has an issue with recognizing the name of the disk. In the Boot Menu, it doesn't display the name of the disk like SAMSUNG EVO 870, but instead shows '000000'. Other than that, it functions normally.

Very good case for its price. The "big" orange indicator LED function is exceptional, something that is not usual and is the special characteristic I was looking for.
