Reigate. A rather pleasant town with its main attraction being a half-ruined castle. The large houses in the area may appear attractive to burglars. William Kerwan, a coachman for a local landowner, was found murdered while trying to protect his employer's property. This was the second burglary to occur in the town within a week. To help him recover from a difficult case, Watson suggests to Holmes that they visit a friend of his in the quiet and beautiful town of Reigate. However, when they arrive there, they find that the police are trying to solve a burglary case. Holmes' vacation will take an unexpected turn, and he will become involved in a mysterious intrigue. Will he manage to solve the Reigate puzzle and reveal the culprit?
