Everything in the world performs an essential work, says the author. This work is not recognized by man as long as he ignores his spiritual nature. Man is limited to what he perceives with his mind and senses, thus self-restricting himself to his own individuality. And the soul comes to teach man the truth about himself and the whole world.

Holy is its work, for it follows the Will of God to unite with Him. This message is conveyed by the soul to its human nature, which often resists accepting it. Man fears losing his ego, his personality, and the satisfaction he derives from these.

There come times when the soul becomes weary or is swept away by the desires of man. However, its will to unite with God strengthens with the Power that He gives it, and it continues its work. It teaches man to utilize everything, even what he considers negative, for his spiritual evolution.

Only in this way does he move toward the Supreme Good, our Lord and God, who is absolute Bliss. Along this journey, the Saints, the Mystics, and the Sages, to whom the author has dedicated the book, are man’s allies.
