I used it in my coffee machine which I definitely hadn't descaled for 2 years but I didn't notice any difference at all....so either my coffee machine didn't need descaling or the product didn't...

I used it in a stainless steel kettle, followed the instructions and finally found that it is a very strong corrosive, which left black spots on the bottom of the kettle. I bought a new kettle.

I have been using Urnex liquid for years for descaling and cleaning limescale from the kettle without any problem.

It definitely requires caution and I would say to use half in one liter, but dissolve the powder in hot water BEFORE putting it in the kettle. Otherwise, you may have the same problem and the kettle may be destroyed.

I will continue with the liquid form.

I hadn't descaled my espresso machine for 3 years, which makes 4 coffees per minute every day throughout the year. With tap water. It made it like new. Different flow, different noises, it rolls like I just bought it. The taste is completely different. The real coffee taste!!! It removes the salts and doesn't stick to them like other liquids. As others have said, it doesn't clog the tubes. Now I will throw the packet every 2 months. It's worth the 1000!!!!!!

More convenient than the corresponding powder from the same company, because it is a fully dissolved material, so there is no chance of any grain remaining undissolved that could clog the solenoid valve in the expensive and limescale-sensitive espresso machines.
Descaling intervals of 1/month to 1/quarter, depending on the hardness of the water (information from EYDAP or with a test kit at your place). If descaling is done at longer intervals, then during descaling "flakes" of limescale detach from the boiler walls, which do not have time to dissolve and may in turn clog the solenoid valve.
It does not work miracles, but if used systematically and consistently, it is one of the most balanced in terms of descaling and protecting the metal components of the device's parts.

I have been using it for years on a monthly basis. The water in my house is of medium to high hardness. The result after 7 years of use is what you see in the photo of the espresso machine's boiler. Quite a bit of sediment, but not enough to clog the machine to the point where it stops working. I don't know how it would be if I didn't use it at all. However, I expected either no sediment at all or a minimal amount. After this, I started trying products from other companies, as this specific product was marketed as the solution to the machine's mineral buildup, which, personally, does not satisfy me.

Owner of a Gaggia Baby since 2008. 2-3 coffees daily for so many years! I have tried other products which are ineffective. I have done countless descalings on my machine and even replaced the gaskets completely whenever I have seen the salts up close! The difference of this particular product compared to other cleaners is the following: It is the ONLY one that dissolves the salts!!! Other products "break" the salts, creating pieces that clog the valves and the coffee machine gets clogged! I have opened the coffee machine after using another cleaner and I saw pieces (like beans) that after a monthly machine cleaning... it got clogged!! Don't look elsewhere... a coffee machine that was barely running water, I poured the solution into 500ml of cold water (mixed well to dissolve completely) and as soon as it passed... the coffee machine simply came back to life! I have saved many troubleshooting years now...
