This vinegar is made exclusively from cider wine from Normandy. Undoubtedly, it is the most renowned in Europe, with that very characteristic apple flavor. It has a golden color and is useful for seasoning and for sharpening drinks and sauces.

It can be used in pickles and in the preparation of cooked chutneys, but it does not have the preservation quality of more acidic must vinegars. This is not a problem when apple cider vinegar is used in sweet and sour combinations with sugar.
