This remote shutter replaces the MC-20 with its many improved features. It includes an electric speaker, an active shutter indicator light, similar to the multi-selector button function of D-SLR/COOLWALKER, interval timer, long exposure (can use both interval timer and long exposure simultaneously), self-timer, timed exposure, and a release mechanism for holding.
