The purpose of this book is to prove:
1) that the Greek Alphabet is a Greek creation and not Semitic-Phoenician 2) that the Semites-Phoenicians copied the Greeks regarding the Alphabet 3) that the opinion of a Phoenician-Semitic origin of our Alphabet is supported unscientifically, that is, without evidence or arguments 4) that deliberately, the new Greek school and university education conceals the scientists who proved the Greekness of our Alphabet 5) that the dissemination of the view that supposedly the Greek Alphabet originates from Semitic-Phoenician serves an anti-Greek political agenda.
The means to achieve the aforementioned purpose is the free scientific dialogue, which we accept and for this reason we republish exactly what the Phoenicianists claim. On the contrary, they systematically avoid any dialogue and moreover do not mention opposing opinions, because they fear the historical truth, which when it shines, reveals Hellenism.
The following texts include:
1) my study on the Greek Alphabet, which I first published in 1981 2) the dispute with articles and letters in the magazine DAULOS and in the newspaper 'Kathimerini' during which the supporters of the Semitic-Phoenician origin of our Alphabet were literally defeated, as the reader will ascertain 3) my correspondence with the Ministry of National Education and the ignorant officials, from which it shows how much the responsible parties who determine the state's educational policy are unaware of the issue of the origin of our Alphabet 4) the legal struggle against the Semitic-Lovers during which they shamelessly dodged 5) the statements in parliament and generally the publicity that the issue of our alphabet received in Greece and in the international scientific community 6) the mention of names of the greatest specialized scientists, both Greek and foreign, who supported and proved the Greekness of our Alphabet and the presentation of the evidence and arguments they present.
After all this, I believe that every reader will admit that the case of the Greek Alphabet is now clarified. There is no longer the slightest doubt about its Greek origin. Those who deny it do so without evidence, that is, in an unscientific manner.
