3M Steri-Strip adhesive wound closure strips hold the edges of a wound together and support the closure of small cuts and low-tension wounds. They are made from a porous, nonwoven backing with a hypoallergenic adhesive and are reinforced with polyester fibers.

They are used to support wounds after the early removal of sutures or staples, as well as in emergency departments and operating rooms. Their breathability, adhesion, and reinforced construction are associated with a lower likelihood of skin irritation and less scarring compared with staples or sutures.

    I needed them at 2 in the morning... my little one got hit near the eye... I cut 2 pieces of 3 centimeters... I glued them on one side, joined the cut and then glued them on the other side... they did the job they were intended for straight away.
