TLDR: The details are what differentiate the Good from the Excellent. That's why 4 stars instead of 5.

I was torn between this and the Fractal Design Meshify 2, as both cases are very similar in terms of features and price. In the end, I chose the 5000D because it has more space for a radiator on the top (4.5cm > Meshify 2) and for purely subjective, aesthetic reasons.

+ The build quality is very good, it looks much better up close than in videos and photos. If you see it in person, you'll understand what I mean. There are 1-2 areas that could have been better, such as the 2 interchangeable PSU covers that are made of plastic, as well as the trays in the HDD cage that are made of flexible plastic. They could have been made of metal, but obviously, this was done to reduce costs. These are details that don't really matter, but when you're paying 180 euros for a case, you have the right to be picky.

+ It is spacious, has good airflow, is Tool-Less. As for noise, when you go for an open mesh case, the noise will depend on the type, size, and number of fans you install, as well as the cooler.

+ The case comes with 2 non-RGB Corsair fans and a PWM controller with slots for 6 fans. The fans were not used, so I have no opinion on them.

+ The accessories are satisfactory with many Velcro straps and enough screws. However, even though the case has slots for 3 SSDs, screws are only provided for 2 SSDs. If you want to install a third one, you either have to search for compatible screws or go through the process of buying them from Corsair. I consider this a mistake on Corsair's part, to be stingy with the accessories when you're paying for a high-end case. For example, you pay 30 euros for a fan and it doesn't even come with an extension cable or a splitter.

- The cable management is good, but with 2 issues (B & C below).

- Other cases in this price range have options to install more than 2 HDDs. Obviously, 90% of us will never need to do that, but it would be nice to have the option.

- There are some design flaws:

A) The power supply goes in from the right side instead of the back, like in other cases. If you have cables installed on top, it will be harder to remove it.

B) The HDD cage cannot go all the way to the front, resulting in less space for cables under the PSU cover. If you install the second front cover, then the HDD cage has to be pushed even further back, making the space below tight.

C) If you use fans on the side due to the mounting bracket, there will be limited space for cables. If you don't use it, you have to remove the plate for the fans to make space. Also, the plate obstructs the installation/removal of hard drives from the HDD cage if you have it placed in the front. If you have many cables below, you have to remove the PSU cables to make room to bring the HDD cage further back and remove the hard drives. In short, along with the case, you get a mounting bracket for side fans that either you use or not, which creates problems with cable management.

D) I would prefer the bottom dust filter to cover the entire bottom surface and not just the back part, and also to come out from the front instead of having to turn the case to remove it from the back.

E) The side glass is quite dark - tinted, resulting in only the lights - RGB inside the case being clearly visible and not other accessories like sleeved cables, for example. This can be seen as positive for some and negative for others.

F) Although the case is large, it only accommodates a 120mm fan at the back, while all other cases of this size accept 140mm fans. And yes, when you can only have one fan at the back, there is a difference between 120 and 140, for example, the 140 can provide the same airflow at lower RPM, thus lower noise.

It is the details that distinguish the Good from the Excellent, for example, the Fractal Meshify 2 has none of the above design flaws. That is why 4 stars instead of 5.
