I have it here for 15 days (1200va 650 w). It is almost silent (also does not smell), I have an issue with noise so if it bothered even a little I would tell you (when you go close, yes, you hear a small hum). The build quality is average to good until proven otherwise. Currently, I am concerned that it heats up while we are in winter and I have low temperatures inside the house. It is definitely a cheap series of APC, I hope it has some quality standards. I will come back after months of using it. I should mention that I bought it for 129 euros with free delivery on Black Friday.

It is essentially an entry-level UPS from APC, and although it has a compact design and is not particularly bulky, during many consecutive short power outages, while it protected the devices from voltage fluctuations, afterwards it took a long time to recharge and especially when I was away from home for several hours, the battery went off after a long outage during the wildfire season without much use, and after only 2 months of purchase. Fortunately, the dealership replaced it immediately, but I still believe it is not worth its money, and for the same price, look for another product either from the same company or another. It's a shame because all the products I have from APC have served me well.

Pay attention to the model selection, as the specific one which is BX1200LI-GR has differences from BX1200MI-GR. It does not have extra RJ-45 & USB ports and therefore cannot be connected to the PC for monitoring via PowerChute. It also has 4 Schuko sockets instead of 2 as stated in the description. According to the official site, this specific series for 1200VA/1600VA/2200VA does not have a user-replaceable battery, but it should be addressed to an authorized repairer.
For a purchase at €109.90 (Black Friday price at a major chain), it is a very good choice for a branded product with generally sturdy and high-quality construction. If I had chosen from the beginning, I don't think I would pay an additional €40 for the version with USB. It comes with a 3-year on-site device warranty and as usual, the battery has a 1-year warranty.
