If you want it for decoration, it's OK, it resembles quite a bit in style the Feuerhand "Baby" 275 (with the narrow reservoir), the paint and the fit of the components are acceptable. However, if you want to *light* it as well, caution is needed: in both pieces I received, the problem with ignition *inside* the burner appeared, which someone else also mentioned. A potentially dangerous situation, as the fuel starts to burn from the base of the wick, almost inside the reservoir, the flame grows uncontrollably and does not extinguish no matter how low you turn down the wick, while the burner overheats very quickly. I suspect that the problem is caused by poor construction of the metal "channel" of the wick, which leaves a side opening through which oil drips into the burner (above the reservoir). Things I tried that *did not* fix the problem: 1. Filling the reservoir lower, to well below halfway (no difference), 2. Attaching the burner 180 degrees from the normal position, with the wick regulator on the opposite side of the lid (*not* recommended, at least on my lamps the burner did not fit properly this way), 3. Operating the lamp with the wick lowered (might make it worse). The only thing that worked was when I completely replaced the burner with an old one from Feuerhand 276, after I did a little "crafting" to adapt the hemispherical piece from the Chinese one with the opening for the wick to the top of it.
It is worth noting that with the same type of fuel and under the same conditions, two original Feuerhand lamps I have burn for hours without any problem.
In conclusion, be very careful if you light them and never leave them unattended while burning.
Αν την θέλετε για διακόσμηση, είναι ΟΚ, θυμίζει αρκετά στο στυλ την Feuerhand "Baby" 275 (με το στενό ρεζερβουάρ), η βαφή και η εφαρμογή των εξαρτημάτων είναι αποδεκτές. Αν όμως θέλετε να την *ανάβετε* κι όλας, χρειάζεται προσοχή: και στα δύο κομμάτια που πήρα εμφανίστηκε το πρόβλημα με ανάφλεξη *μέσα* στον καυστήρα, που ανέφερε και κάποιος άλλος. Δυνητικά επικίνδυνη κατάσταση, καθώς το καύσιμο αρχίζει να καίγεται από τη βάση του φυτιλιού, σχεδόν μέσα στο ρεζερβουάρ, η φλόγα μεγαλώνει ανεξέλεγκτα και δεν σβήνει όσο και να χαμηλώσεις το φυτίλι, ενώ ο καυστήρας υπερθερμαίνεται πολύ γρήγορα. Εικάζω ότι το πρόβλημα προκαλείται από κακή κατασκευή του μεταλλικού "καναλιού" του φυτιλιού, που αφήνει ένα πλευρικό άνοιγμα μέσα από το οποίο στάζει πετρέλαιο μέσα στον καυστήρα (πάνω από το ρεζερβουάρ). Πράγματα που δοκίμασα και *δεν* διόρθωσαν το πρόβλημα: 1. Να γεμίζω το ρεζερβουάρ κάτω, έως πολύ κάτω, από τη μέση (καμία διαφορά), 2. Να κουμπώσω τον καυστήρα 180 μοίρες από το κανονικό, με το ρυθμιστή του φυτιλιού από την απέναντι μεριά του καπακιού (*δεν* συνιστάται, τουλάχιστον στις δικές μου λάμπες ο καυστήρας δεν εφάρμοζε σωστά έτσι), 3. Να λειτουργώ τη λάμπα με χαμηλωμένο το φυτίλι (μπορεί να το κάνει και χειρότερα). Το μόνο που δούλεψε ήταν όταν αντικατέστησα εντελώς τον καυστήρα με έναν παλιό από Feuerhand 276, αφού έκανα μια μικρή "χειροτεχνία" για να προσαρμόσω στο πάνω μέρος του το ημισφαιρικό κομματάκι της κινέζικης με το άνοιγμα για το φυτίλι.
Σημειωτέον ότι με τον ίδιο τύπο καυσίμου και στις ίδιες συνθήκες, δύο ορίτζιναλ Feuerhand που έχω καίνε με τις ώρες χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα.
Συμπερασματικά, πολλή προσοχή αν τις ανάβετε και ποτέ μην τις αφήνετε ανεπιτήρητες όσο καίνε.
It became useless from the very first use, I did everything as I should since I have used such a lamp in the past, and yet when I turned it on, it worked fine. After 5 minutes, however, the flame started increasing without me touching the wick. I tried to gather the wick to reduce the fire, but I couldn't gather it anymore, it was overflowing. But it continued to have a huge flame and burned completely. When I tried to extinguish it, it wouldn't go out at all, so I grabbed it with the rubber to put it out, resulting in the glass cracking on the outside and rendering it completely useless. Not that it ever worked, but just saying, be careful not to get any fire.
Αχρηστεύτηκε από τη πρώτη κιόλας χρήση, εκανα τα πάντα όπως έπρεπε αφού έχω χρησιμοποιήσει τέτοια λάμπα και στο παρελθόν και παρόλα αυτά όταν το άναψα λειτουργούσε κανονικά μετά από 5 λεπτά όμως η φλόγα άρχισε να αυξάνεται χωρίς να έχω πειράξει το φυτίλι άρχισα να μαζεύω το φυτίλι για να μειωθεί η φωτιά μέχρι που δεν μπορούσα να το μαζέψω άλλο ίσα και περίσσευε από πάνω αλλά αυτό συνέχιζε να έχει τεράστια φλόγα και να καίγεται ολόκληρο όταν προσπάθησα να το σβήσω δεν έσβηνε με τίποτα και το έπιασα με το λάστιχο για να σβήσει με αποτέλεσμα να ραγίσει το τζαμάκι απέξω και να αχρηστευτεί εντελώς, όχι ότι δούλεψε ποτέ αλλά λέμε, όποτε προσοχή μη πάρετε καμία φωτιά ..
