EshaSealer No 1 is a plastomeric asphalt mastic for joint sealing, suitable for horizontal and vertical joints of small width. It contains a mixture of refined asphalt, solvents, plasticizers, synthetic rubber, and inorganic fibers. It follows the contractions and expansions in the usual deformations of a joint without showing tendencies, due to its thermoplastic nature. Over time, it forms a hard film on the surface of the joint, while its mass remains plastic.

• Sealing and bonding asphalt shingles
• Perimeter sealing of waterproof asphalt layers
• Sealing cracks in concrete, plaster, or brick
• Sealing horizontal and vertical expansion joints of secondary importance
• Bonding of thermal insulation boards

Before using EshaSealer No 1, it is necessary to prime the sides of the joint with the asphalt varnish EshaLac 50S.
