The MC100CM media converter is designed to convert 100BASE-FX optical signals to 100Base-TX copper (cable) or vice versa. It is compliant with IEEE 802.3u 10/100Base-TX and 100Base-FX standards and intended for use with multimode optical fiber, using an SC-type connector. The MC100CM supports the long-wavelength laser specification (LX) with full cable speed for data transfer, operating at 1310 nm.
