The difference in taste compared to the pitchers I used for years is chaotic.

Ideal for direct connection to the cold water supply. I searched quite a bit among filters in this category and I didn't see any other that gives 8 liters per minute like this one.

A little care is needed during the first use to let a lot of water pass through the carbon. In the first few liters, it reduced the flow, but after some liters passed through, it returned to normal flow.

    Update:
Observations after one year of use.
Quality product but with limited lifespan.
For a family of three connected to the cold water supply (i.e., for both drinking and washing), it lasted 6-7 months with normal flow. After that, the flow started to drop noticeably. By the 10th month, it had dropped to half.
I decided to try the Oceano ON16, which fits the same base and has the same flow rate but double the liters and half the price, so we'll see

Excellent water quality. I use it directly under the sink in cold water without any drop in pressure. I have been using it for 1.5 years and even when I change it, the pressure has not dropped and the water does not smell. It is very easy to change, with a twist of the valve it comes out and with another twist the new one is installed. I do it myself, of course, without any tools. Perfect for use in a city network.

Very good filter, the water doesn't smell. To last for 1 year on a central faucet (and for dishwashing), put a cheap polypropylene filter before the main filter to catch dirt and odors, and you will be very satisfied!!! Update: I installed the filter on a three-way faucet to have it only for cooking and drinking water, as well as washing fruits and vegetables. It's perfect, worth its money.
