SurfaMix C is added to cement-based mortars to increase their adhesion to the application surfaces while simultaneously improving elasticity, preventing the development of hairline cracks in coatings and cement mortars.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

SurfaMix C is a liquid, water-based product used as an additive for cement-based mortars, improving their adhesion, reducing shrinkage and cracking while simultaneously preventing water penetration. A cement mixture with SurfaMix C "works" more easily and the working time is extended, approximately doubling it. Additionally, it reduces the phenomenon of surface disintegration of the cement.

• masonry mortars (plastering and rendering)
• tile adhesives
• repair mortars
• grouting mortars

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Shake well before use. Add SurfaMix C at a ratio of 5-10% of the cement used in the mixture or 2.5 - 5 Kg of SurfaMix C per 50 Kg bag of cement. As a tile adhesive enhancer, use 0.5 L of SurfaMix C for 25 kg. SurfaMix C cannot be used as a plasticizer for concrete in structural applications. All application tools are cleaned with water. For excellent waterproofing results, use SurfaPore C on the surface of the mortar after it has dried. If you wish to paint, first prime with SurfaMix P following the instructions.
