Esha Desmolast elastomeric polyurethane waterproofing coating is applied as a liquid and forms a membrane, primarily for waterproofing horizontal surfaces. It is suitable for concrete rooftops, basements, terraces and balconies, as well as plasterboard, cement board, asbestos cement board and sheet metal.
It is also used to re-waterproof surfaces covered with an old mineral-chip asphalt membrane, to waterproof bathrooms and on surfaces subject to mechanical stress. The membrane can accommodate expansion and contraction of over 450%, does not shrink or crack, and remains flexible through significant temperature fluctuations. It is walkable, vapour-permeable and reflective, non-flammable, easy to clean, and resistant to ageing and ultraviolet rays.
