The Bose ControlSpace EX-1280 digital processor is an open-architecture DSP matrix router with DANTE support. It features 12 analog Mic/Line inputs and 8 analog outputs, while the Bose AmpLink connection via RJ-45 (CAT5) sends up to 8 audio channels to compatible Bose amplifiers.

Processing features include automatic microphone mixing, multiband graphic and parametric equalizers, Bose loudspeaker libraries, signal generators, routers, mixers, AGC, duckers, gates, compressors, source selectors, and delays. The RS-232, 5-channel GPIO, and 3-pin Euroblock ports support connection to compatible external controllers. The MicroUSB Type-B port connects to a computer for stereo input/output streaming, while the ControlSpace Designer application is used for control, routing, and configuration.
