The new Shimano Kairiki line is made in Japan using a new technique called the “VT Construction Method.” This innovative technique produces tightly woven lines by applying force to the line in opposite directions during the braiding process.

The 8 strands of Kaikiri are woven uniformly at the same angle, resulting in a very strong, tightly woven, thin-diameter line that is also very smooth, with great casting capability.

The Shimano Kairiki line is highly durable, smooth to the touch, and ideal for those who need long casts.
It is available in the most popular diameters for coastal fishing in the Mediterranean, starting from 0.06 mm to 0.35 mm with impressive strength reaching up to 39.50kg.

The 8-strand Kairiki line has the ideal properties for Spinning techniques, both in fresh and saltwater, as it is very sensitive, very smooth, significantly reduces friction noise as it passes through the guides, and helps the user approach the prey silently.
