Instructions for use:

For safe climbing and descending stairs with the cane, it is important to:

• Hold onto the stair railing.
• Carry the cane with the opposite hand.
• Start with the stronger leg.
• Proceed carefully and slowly with the weaker leg.
• It is important not to hurry and not to climb two steps at a time.
• If the stairs do not have a railing, perform the aforementioned procedure carefully at a slower pace.

When descending:

• Ensure that the surface is not slippery.
• Check that there are no obstacles in front of you.
• Initially ask for assistance from your caregiver if needed.
• Hold onto the railing (if there isn't one, maintain good balance).
• Lower the cane and your weaker leg by taking a slow first step.
• Do not descend two steps at a time.
