Organic mountain tea from Mount Olympus from the plant species Sideritis sp. (Athoa - Clandestina - Raeseri - Scardici - Euboea - Syriaca), widely known throughout Greece by the common name mountain tea. It is found growing wild in most mountainous and semi-mountainous areas of the Mediterranean.
It is consumed as a hot beverage or cold, after letting it steep as a hot beverage, waiting for it to cool down a bit, and then shaking it with ice cubes in a shaker. It is served plain, with honey, agave, or maple syrup.
