For the money it (doesn't) cost, for the tools it has, for being lightweight and not burdening the computer, for its reliability, for compatibility with other Windows security programs, THERE is nothing else at this price. I discovered it 5-6 years ago and I have it on over 10 computers without any problems. It doesn't have a VPN but it has Safepay for your e-banking or shopping.

After 2 years of use, I will say that it is a very heavy program (at least for my pc). Of course, at this price (10€ for 2 years), there is no discussion that it is an excellent offer. The protection it offers you is very good

As a protection program, there is no doubt, it is excellent for me in the top 3 and I have tried many programs that deal with torrents, it knows what's going on, it has full protection, ransomware, and even a firewall, everything.... The only negative thing about this one is not only that it doesn't have a VPN (a small drawback, considering the price is free), but also because I have a VPN from another company, I can't install it because it requires a Greek account, while I have (like many people, I assume) a com account. So, two accounts cannot coexist on one machine.

In this version, which is from digital care, it does not support the vpn mentioned in the description. It was one of the reasons I preferred it but.........With a little more money, it has programs that support vpn as well.

What potential buyers need to know is that the code is part of the "Digital Care" program of the Ministry of Education and cannot be activated as an extension or renewal of your existing Bitdefender central subscription. Of course, you can create a new account and use it (the price is excellent for 2 years), but it would be useful to clearly state that it is a promo (at least in the store where I bought it, there was no mention).

Edit: After contacting the technical department of Bitdefender Greece regarding an issue with the subscription, the code can eventually be activated on an existing account. In this case, however, you should make sure to log in with the option "Greece" instead of "Global" (it will give you the option during login). But be careful: if you already have another active subscription on this email, it is preferable to create a new account because the system might get stuck and not recognize both subscriptions, as it happened in my case...

I bought two keys from a reliable store. However, the ones I received were digital keys, which was not mentioned anywhere. As a result, the second key that I wanted to use for my laptop had to be activated on a separate account (email). Obviously, it's not a big deal, but I would have liked to know.

In terms of protection, it is very good. However, in terms of weight, I believe it is the heaviest I have seen and it also consumes 1gb of RAM. Apart from that, it has compatibility issues with certain routers, for example, the mi4a, which it blocks without reason and does not monitor network traffic. I have sent many emails and in Greece, they responded to me in a dry manner, saying that our program does not have any issues and closed the ticket. For me, Norton, Kaspersky, and ESET are better options.

Update: After 8 months, they sent me an email and told me that I was right about the network traffic issue and that they fixed it AFTER 8 MONTHS. I am crying.
