Since the late 20th century, and especially in our days, Greek astrology has been widely applied by a large number of researchers, as practiced by Dorotheus of Sidon, Claudius Ptolemy, Paulus Alexandrinus, Hephaestion of Thebes, and many others before them. We must consider ourselves very fortunate for the recovery of all this knowledge, which has come into our hands in recent years and represents the distilled knowledge and wisdom of so many centuries. The revival of many ancient astrological texts has sparked further study and engagement with ancient techniques, not only by those who practiced traditional astrology but also by many who applied modern astrology. In particular, contemporary scholars, following the Greek way of thinking in the analysis of a chart, have been discovering, day by day, the correctness of astrological methods, as well as the accuracy of the results they obtained.
