Recent purchase to replace a real "piece of junk" Multihome. I will start with its installation. With a little DIY knowledge, it takes about 30 minutes. It has a 150mm outlet but also comes with an adapter for 120mm. It comes with a full-size sheet indicating where to drill holes for its placement. Inside, where it connects to the wall pipe, there are small plastic flaps, but I removed them because from experience, they tend to stick and make noise. Soon, I will also add a carbon filter to the intake to keep the motor and fan cleaner. Let's move on to the practical part. Performance-wise, in a unified kitchen with a living room of 55 square meters (my kitchen is electric), I don't find any problems. It was tested in the best way... with broccoli... No smell inside the house during use. You don't need to lift the window to improve its performance... it creates a suction airflow that doesn't let any smell or steam escape. Also, for those who have unified spaces with a living room and a fireplace... The fireplace must be extinguished, otherwise... it will either go out or draw smoke inside. The lighting is very satisfactory. I don't consider the cost excessive for what it offers. It has a minimal design and does exactly what it was built for. Regarding the noise, I don't find it loud on the first and second settings, but on the third, you can feel it. Of course, it's logical since you're "maxing it out," but again, compared to what I had before, it sounds like a "whisper" to me. I highly recommend it. I will come back with more details and photos.
