My first one (2022) was problematic and after working fine for 1-2 days, it suddenly started losing internet connection through it. With a restart, it worked again. I took it to work and experimentally connected it with fewer ports, that is, 3 out of 8, and it has been working fine since then (over a year). So maybe the load was making it difficult, or a specific port. Another second one at work using 6 ports seems fine. I believe that everything generally works, but there are higher chances with some companies of getting a defective product. As long as the tplink ones are expensive, it might be a good choice.
