One of my best purchases, this specific casserole dish. Everything I have cooked has turned out delicious and tender. So far, I have cooked pork, chicken, goat, and chickpeas. Especially the chickpeas, when I left them for many hours, they were perfect (soft and mushy like traditional chickpea stew). I should note that I have not used it in a kitchen oven. I place it on a gas grill on top of a baking stone, and it feels like I am cooking in a wood-fired oven (and now that electricity prices are through the roof, cooking is much more economical this way and you don't mind leaving it for hours).
