The ALCAD CA-641 trunk amplifier boosts and balances all polarities before the multiswitches are connected in cascade. It is designed for medium and large MATV and SMATV installations and supports up to 128 TV outlets on a single line using one amplifier and one FU-513 power supply. For more outlets, the installation can be split into lines of 128 outlets, allowing distribution to more than 2,000 outlets in total.

It supports 4, 8 or 16 polarities in cascaded installations. For 16 polarities, two 8-polarity amplifiers are stacked. It features gain adjustment and an independent equalizer for each polarity.
