After a year of operation, this specific monitor suddenly stopped displaying images from the Displayport, so I had to use an HDMI cable to get it working again. The Displayport malfunctioned when I turned on the monitor on July 22, 2022. I initially thought it was a problem with my graphics card, but after testing it with an older LG monitor that also has a Displayport, it's definitely a problem with the monitor itself. Now it can only function properly with HDMI. I suspect that the monitor cannot withstand the temperatures of the Greek summer, which is why it broke
Mετα απο ενα χρονο λειτουργιας της συγκεκριμενης οθονης στα καλα καθουμενα μια μερα σταματησε να δειχνει εικονα απο το Displayport και αναγκαστηκα εβαλα καλωδιο HDMI για να ξαναλειτουργησει. Χαλασε το Displayport στα καλα καθουμενα μολις την ανοιξα την οθονη στις 22 Ιουλιου 2022 νομιζα οτι ηταν προβλημα της καρτας γραφικων μου αλλα μετα απο δοκιμη που εκανα με μια παλιοτερη οθονη LG που κατεχω (που εχει επισης Displayport) τελικα ειναι σιγουρα προβλημα οθονης και πλεον μονο με HDMI μπορει να λειτουργησει κανονικα ...Υποπτευομαι οτι η οθονη δεν αντεχει στις θερμοκρασιες του καλοκαιριου της Ελλαδας και για αυτο χαλασε :(
Unfortunately, I cannot express an opinion about the screen as a gaming monitor because I have purchased it as an assistant for 3D modeling. However, this particular monitor has very good ergonomics, multiple color profiles (as a graphic designer, I am very satisfied with sRGB), I have not understood why they designed the menu this way, there is no logic in functionality (it has this small lever like the PS controllers but pressing it in the center does absolutely nothing in any menu option), overall the menu is all over the place. However, outside of gaming mode, the 4K resolution is amazing for designing software (graphics, 3D, video editing, etc.). I believe it will also be great for gaming, according to the specifications mentioned in the official presentation of the monitor on the ASUS website. That's all.

I have it on my PC with a displayport excellent monitor with a high-quality IPS panel, the only disadvantage being that it does not support more than 60Hz, otherwise it is flawless and at a very good price.
Την εχω στο PC μου με displayport εξαιρετικη οθονη με ποιοτικο IPS panel το μονο μειονεκτημα οτι δεν υποστηριζει πανω απο 60HZ στα υπολοιπα ειναι αψογη και σε πολυ καλη τιμη.
