Interpretive recording of current criminal procedural law with the "step-by-step" processing of criminal trials.
This also attempts the functional integration of significant changes brought about by recent amending laws (Law 3811/2009, 3860/2010, 3904/2010, and especially 4055/2012). It also includes a separate chapter on evidence in criminal trials, where the conditions and limits in the search for truth are formulated clearly and accurately.
Therefore, the work explores the procedural phases of criminal trials, defines them in their practical dimension, and enriches them with significant positions from recent case law. Through the combined analytical presentation of theoretical opinions and choices of case law, theoretically substantiated and practically applicable solutions are provided. Thus, an interpretation is derived that supports practice and is supported by it.
Like the previous five editions, this one also includes a user-friendly
index of terms. The work is addressed to both students of criminal procedural law and practitioners in criminal practice: judges and lawyers.
