From what I saw, the drivers from the tp-link website are from 2015 (maybe there are newer ones available) which might be the reason why when I turn on the PC, I have to restart it because no matter how many times I remove and reattach the antenna, it doesn't connect.

I would recommend a power line adapter instead (it's about +30€) but it will do a proper job unlike this antenna.

...and suddenly, after minimal use (only occasionally in August for 15-20 days, for the third year), it died forever.. mediocrity!!! not even the light turns on!!!

Very good for its price.. It requires tplink drivers for w8, w10 - it works with microsoft drivers but you will return to dial-up speeds.

I have had it for about a month now. The first two weeks I had absolutely no problem. From a certain point onwards, however, it loses connection every 5 minutes! It's driving me crazy! The previous one I had was also from TP-Link but it worked perfectly for 3 years before it started disconnecting. And that's why I got a new one. So I am extremely disappointed with the new one that disconnects every now and then from the very beginning. It has disconnected twice while I am writing this review.

It goes without saying that it passes through walls as users say! In the downstairs apartment, it catches the router from the upstairs at a speed of 26 mbps! My old USB stick couldn't even catch 2! I downloaded the drivers, installed them, and that was it. I believe it's a very good purchase.

EDIT After upgrading the line in the upstairs house, I now catch 45! Just for your information, I've had it for over a year and I've never experienced any disconnections

Initially, it doesn't work on Windows 10!
What walls does it pass through, guys? It doesn't even pass through the air in a 4-meter range where the router is.
With the laptop, I get 5 bars, and with the super antenna that passes through walls, I get 4 bars.
It also connects to only half of the networks compared to the laptop.
We'll see if it passes through walls soon when I throw it against the wall.
If it doesn't pass through, it will break. Don't make the mistake of buying it.
It's the worst thing I've ever bought.
Even the Nokia 3410 gets a better signal than this thing.

It sticks the usb and recognizes it immediately in windows 8..but I don't know about other things..
I also installed the cd with the drivers and..bam!!!..20-25 more networks..The 2 antennas are very powerful as it goes through walls..as I was informed by the store where I bought it..
Basically, I got it to bring distant networks closer and connect!!..Simply excellent..no disconnections or freezes..It serves me very well as it also increases the speed of the networks I connect to..and another strong characteristic is that it has built-in software for the softapp function, meaning it can become a hotspot (not for illegal immigrants of course..haha) and I can also connect with my mobile, tablet, and TV..All in one, that is..with this device, you have free internet as long as you are a bit savvy and lucky..

Average to very bad. Yes, it has excellent range and "catches" many networks. However, for its main and basic function, it is unacceptable. Disconnections (daily and very frequent) whenever it feels like it, absolute instability when connecting to the internet. This is on Windows 10. If it is better on other versions, I pass. Bad purchase.

When the PC boots, 2 out of 3 times it will not automatically connect to the wifi but instead it will say No internet access, I have to wait 2-3 minutes for it to fix itself and make 1-2 connections-disconnections. The ping in games was good until recently, but now for some reason I have UNBELIEVABLE lag spikes (the ethernet is not an issue, nor are the other wifi devices), the ping literally doubles and reaches 200+ every few seconds in any game I have tried (LoL, cs go, rocket league, overwatch, etc.). As the ping increases, the speed decreases, sometimes below half, and there are times when it randomly disconnects me. I have Windows 10 and I am using the latest drivers.
In short, the product is garbage and I have switched to ethernet. I paid 25€ for a supposedly reliable adapter, an OEM for 5€ is better.

From 90-100 ping that I had in games before, now that I got this, I have 60.
The download speed went from 1mb/s to 1.6mb/s.

The antenna works great. I am on the first floor and I can pick up four strong and stable signals from the third floor without getting disconnected from the network. In contrast to the laptop's antenna, which only picked up one signal and constantly lost the connection. By far one of my best purchases as it has saved me from internet connections, etc.

The installation driver is problematic even on the Windows 7 that I tried.

They have not released Windows 10 drivers yet, they have stayed on 7.
You will need a port with easy access to plug and unplug when disconnecting, which happens very often.
Otherwise, like all tplink products, it is okay

It does its job well. The router is located on the upper floor on the opposite side from the PC on the lower floor and provides 1.4 mb/s out of the total 1.8 mb/s. Very good performance considering it goes through 3-4 thick walls and closed doors.

Excellent product. In a secluded stone house, without visual contact with the Municipal wi-fi antenna, where the tp-link WA7510N antenna provided one power line (out of five) outside the window (i.e. in winter or with rain difficult things), the TL-WN8200ND provides three power lines (out of five) through the closed window. I will buy another one for any eventuality.

Very good adapter! I have the modem on another floor and still has 5/5 signal and high transmission rate. Truly an economical choice that delivers good results.

My modem is located 7 meters away from the PC and with a wall in between, I get a 5/5 signal. Overall, there are absolutely no problems with speed or lag in games.

In combination with TP-Link's N standard products, it flies!!! A very good solution for a home theater system with high bandwidth requirements for HD video playback via a Wi-Fi network, while using the extension cable it contains, you can place the antennas in a location for ideal signal reception from the Wi-Fi router-access point. Be careful to only use this specific cable because I encountered problems with some of my own USB extensions.

In combination with the TP-LINK W8970 modem router, by selecting the "cleanest" Wi-Fi channel in my neighborhood, I achieve 300Mbps at a distance of 11m with one wall in between, and I can play Full HD videos without any lag, I am saved!
