Description

The Monte Marte Premium Gesso is a water-based primer, ideal for preparing surfaces for painting. It is a bright white opaque primer with an absorbent character.

It can be used on:

  • Canvas
  • Cardboard
  • Wood

Once dry, it can be painted over with acrylics and oils. It is acid-free and provides an ideal surface for painting.

Apply two thin layers for a smooth surface with a soft brush or with a painting spatula for a more textured result.

It dries in approximately 2 hours, depending on the application. Clean up with water.
