A figure who marked 20th-century monasticism was the Athonite Elder Paisios. He lived modestly, but the testimony of the Orthodox Community daily proclaims his sanctity, both through incidents and miracles that were recounted while the Elder was alive as well as after his repose.
In this work, we attempt to identify, as much as possible, those writers who refer to his person in two ways. Either by providing personal testimonies from their interactions with him or by drawing various incidents from his works and embedding them in their own texts.
