Read so you know a few things. The bulbs should NOT be LED. They should be the classic ones to have a high total radiation power emission. These attract insects effectively. Also, the bulb should operate on alternating current at 50 Hz or 120 Hz mains frequency. And exactly the fact that it turns on and off 50 times per second is even more attractive to insects. The most effective bulb is the egg-shaped iodine bulb but I don't know if it still exists on the market. In the future, I want to make a good patent. Until then, as consumers, you should ask that in such devices the bulbs are the so-called polymerization bulbs at 365 nm classic and NOT LED.

I expected better results for the amount of money paid. We use 2 of these simultaneously, but it seems that mosquitoes prefer the other one!

Unfortunately, I am obliged to correct my initial position on this trap because after considerable use, I have found that it attracts more flies and other insects that are attracted by this blue light rather than the tiger mosquito, which is my problem and the main reason why I bought it. In order to attract this mosquito, I initially assumed that the device should be left open in a closed space without other lights and without people, of course, for a certain period of time. Even so, a tiger mosquito remained inside my space for two weeks without being attracted by this trap. If your problem is mosquitoes, then do not buy it.

Well, let me tell you, this tool is a blessing for insects and a savior for the family!!! I have left it in the yard and it fries anything that flies, especially mosquitoes!! I will let you know if it breaks down soon.
