The STAC Tutta Bath Pro insect trap is powered by solar energy and charges a rechargeable battery. When sunlight levels decrease, it switches on automatically and illuminates the blue dish, attracting adult tuta absoluta insects. Depending on the charge, it lights up for 4–6 hours.

During the day, the solar panel needs direct exposure to sunlight to charge the battery. Fill the dish with soapy water made with 1 litre of water and a little dishwashing detergent, or with water and a little oil. The insects fall into the liquid and are killed. The recommended installation height is 50 cm above the ground.
