The flood is the mode with the 2 lights. It is the only mode that does not dim. The spot is dimmable, as well as the flood+spot mode (3 LED ON). However, the flood is known for its battery efficiency and the fact that you cannot lower it further than the default 50% brightness is a big drawback. Also, you can only increase it to 100% when all 3 LEDs are on (flood + spot). It is better to get the energizer Vision HD+ which is dimmable at all levels except for the red (night vision).

Incredibly powerful, very lightweight, you don't even realize you're wearing it. And for 11 euros, it's the best thing I've found.

I would suggest not buying well-known brands of mountaineering equipment for their headlamp. I have worked with them for years and believe me, now that I bought this one, I saw great lumens, performance, and obviously price. Who cares now if the flashlight is made by this or that company honestly. It does what it says, the only thing that really bothers me is that it doesn't have a strobe but it has endless settings.

  • Good but it has aged now.
There are better ones from the same company at a similar price...
To its credit, it endured a lot of rain during a hike but it didn't give up!
In general, Energizer headlamps (I have 4) require caution during storage and transportation as their buttons can easily be pressed and you might run out of battery when you need it.
I recommend removing 1 battery when putting it in a backpack.
