The Knipex TwistCut stripper cuts plastic corrugated conduits with diameters of 13–32 mm and protective plastic spiral tubing with a rib width of up to 2.7 mm. Cutting requires little pressure and does not deform the spiral tubing or damage the internal cables or conduits.

The stripping blades accommodate wires and stranded conductors with cross-sections of 0.2–4 mm². Auxiliary ribs on the 1.5 and 2.5 mm² blades make it easier to position the wires. The internal length scale helps ensure consistent stripping and is easy to read for both right- and left-handed users. The tool is made of glass-fibre-reinforced synthetic material.
