In the present study, the cultural history of the aesthetically structured "place of sanctity," viewed through the lens of a complex narrative on multiple levels, is understood as a tangible framework for comprehending the divine and as a continuous interpretation of the memory of that specific place.
This is an interpretive perspective aimed at revitalizing the memory of a place "in action," constructed based on intricate relational specifications that serve a performative logic and action.
The "place of sanctity" constitutes a mnemonic repository that plays a crucial role in the formation of identities as well as in the interpretation of the believer's relationship with the surrounding space, narrating the experience of being "beyond space" in the effort to create a familiar place.
Architecture and visual production transform abstract space into a mediated place, relating it to history.
