The latest generation Viomi SE cleaning robot is full of innovative solutions that make its work even more efficient. The vacuum is equipped with state-of-the-art laser radar, a built-in vacuuming and mopping system that will leave the floor clean and shiny. It effectively dodges all obstacles and the robust high-power suction motor can handle all kinds of dirt and debris.

Designed and effective cleaning

The latest generation LDS precision laser radar features a 360-degree global scanning and mapping system that allows you to accurately plan your robot's work. The high scanning frequency of 6 x 360°/sec, combined with a range of up to 8 meters, allows for easy and fast control even in rooms with many obstacles.

Powerful processor

The Cortex-A7 chip with 1.2 GHz operating capabilities and SLAM algorithm enables fast operation and real-time mapping and route determination. Cleaning performance has been increased by 30% compared to the V2 Pro model by optimizing route selection to minimize cleaning time.

Easy mapping

The smart updating and automatic recognition of multi-level maps and the absence of re-mapping allows for quick and easy use of the robot even in villas and multi-level houses. The robot stores up to 5 maps, so it will automatically adapt to the known space and effectively clean each room.

Programming

The app allows you to schedule up to 7 plans that allow you to choose the times or rooms that need cleaning. In addition, each of the diagrams allows you to set a specific suction power and also the mopping level. The robot can treat each room differently, depending on the needs and the level of dirt.

High suction

The water flow is controlled as needed, there are three levels to choose from and a large mop with a surface area of 325 cm2 allows for thorough cleaning of any space.

Cleaning routes

The innovative Y-Mopping 2.0 system is an updated algorithm that simulates multiple manual cleaning. Depending on the type of dirt, the robot will self-select the appropriate operation. The S-shaped path allows for efficient cleaning and fast removal of dust and dirt from surfaces. The Y-shaped track, on the other hand, is used for heavy dirt, which is easily removed by two-way vacuuming and washing.

Continuous cleaning

The high-performance battery with a capacity of up to 3200 mAh allows 150 minutes of uninterrupted operation. During one battery cycle, the robot can easily clean an area of almost 200 m2, i.e. the entire house or several times an apartment. Overcoming obstacles

    It is used in a 240 sqm store with 2 pets inside.
    The 140 sqm is an open space without many obstacles, it cleans very well and quickly. In the 100 sqm area, there are quite a few obstacles, it slows down and sometimes passes multiple times from the same spot to clean, as seen in the application.
    It is understood that you need to do some preparation beforehand, gather cables, mats, etc. to avoid entanglement.
    With one charge, it covers approximately 180 sqm.
    Easy to clean, also the spare parts do not wear out easily.
    I have not tried mopping, so I cannot give an opinion on that.

    The only significant negative aspect, and the reason for the 3 stars, is that sometimes it loses its base (places it in a different spot on the map) when it starts and confuses the cleaning. I don't know if it's a software issue or due to the space because there are frequent changes in the layout of the area due to boxes, etc., and it might get confused.

    Purchased from an international website in October 2021 on sale for €150. It is worth buying up to €200, beyond that, you can go for better models of Xiaomi with greater autonomy and mopping function.

    Excellent vacuum cleaner. Definitely value for money...you can create multiple maps for multiple floors, and you can customize the maps you create. It has 5 levels of suction, the first one being silent and the noise increases as you go up. The cleaning is very decent. The dustbin definitely needs to be emptied after each cleaning because it also has a built-in water tank, so it's a bit small. It's good to use demineralized water to prevent the tubes from getting clogged with salt. Lastly, I noticed that the consumables are more expensive compared to other Xiaomi vacuums. That's it. Definitely a very good purchase for anyone who wants a robot vacuum cleaner. And the most important thing: We have 2 cats and a dog at home, and it has handled it perfectly...that says it all.

    I bought it for office use, I tried it at home as well.

    In the office (a space without carpets and with few obstacles) it does a perfect job of vacuuming and mopping with easy preparation and cleaning of the bin.

    At home, it is probably more suitable for "maintenance" until the next thorough cleaning, rather than replacing human cleaning. The main reason is the small size of the bin, which means that it either needs to vacuum in sections with emptying in between, or it needs to be used almost daily to prevent the house from getting too dusty.

    TL;DR in a small or medium space with few obstacles, it can handle vacuuming/mopping entirely. In a large space with obstacles, it is good for maintenance between major cleanings.

    Excellent purchase, especially if you find it on sale. However, the sensor software needs improvement. The vacuum easily moves around the low-height carpet in the living room to clean. But it gets confused with dark colors and goes crazy. It would get stuck in certain areas of the carpet and say (with a voice message) that the sensors are malfunctioning, so I had to restart the mapping process three times to figure out why it was getting blocked. So, being a smart man, I placed chairs and anything else I could use to block access to the dark areas, and finally, the house mapping was completed. Also, be careful with USB cables, headphones, etc., as the brush pulls them and takes them for a ride.

It effectively dodges all obstacles and the robust high-power suction motor can handle all kinds of dirt and debris.

Designed and effective cleaning

The latest generation LDS precision laser radar features a 360-degree global scanning and mapping system that allows you to accurately plan your robot's work. The high scanning frequency of 6 x 360°/sec, combined with a range of up to 8 meters, allows for easy and fast control even in rooms with many obstacles.

Powerful processor

The Cortex-A7 chip with 1.2 GHz operating capabilities and SLAM algorithm enables fast operation and real-time mapping and route determination. Cleaning performance has been increased by 30% compared to the V2 Pro model by optimizing route selection to minimize cleaning time.

Easy mapping

The smart updating and automatic recognition of multi-level maps and the absence of re-mapping allows for quick and easy use of the robot even in villas and multi-level houses. The robot stores up to 5 maps, so it will automatically adapt to the known space and effectively clean each room.

Programming

The app allows you to schedule up to 7 plans that allow you to choose the times or rooms that need cleaning. In addition, each of the diagrams allows you to set a specific suction power and also the mopping level. The robot can treat each room differently, depending on the needs and the level of dirt.

High suction

The extremely high suction power of 2200 Pa gives you unlimited cleaning possibilities. The robot can easily tackle hair, food residue and dust. In addition, thanks to improvements in the motor compared to the V2 Pro, the cleaning performance on hard surfaces and carpets has been significantly increased.

Mopping function

The robot is equipped with a constant pressure water pump, which is not affected by the remaining water volume and various external factors. Thanks to the continuous operation, it ensures sufficient humidity of the mop, and therefore better cleaning performance. The water flow is controlled as needed, there are three levels to choose from and a large mop with a surface area of 325 cm2 allows for thorough cleaning of any space.

Cleaning routes

The innovative Y-Mopping 2.0 system is an updated algorithm that simulates multiple manual cleaning. Depending on the type of dirt, the robot will self-select the appropriate operation. The S-shaped path allows for efficient cleaning and fast removal of dust and dirt from surfaces. The Y-shaped track, on the other hand, is used for heavy dirt, which is easily removed by two-way vacuuming and washing.

Continuous cleaning

The high-performance battery with a capacity of up to 3200 mAh allows 150 minutes of uninterrupted operation. During one battery cycle, the robot can easily clean an area of almost 200 m2, i.e. the entire house or several times an apartment. The combination of an efficient battery and innovative mapping systems has enabled the device to achieve such high performance and efficiency.

Overcoming obstacles

    The 140 sqm is an open space without many obstacles, it cleans very well and quickly. In the 100 sqm area, there are quite a few obstacles, it slows down and sometimes passes multiple times from the same spot to clean, as seen in the application.
    It is understood that you need to do some preparation beforehand, gather cables, mats, etc. to avoid entanglement.
    With one charge, it covers approximately 180 sqm.
    Easy to clean, also the spare parts do not wear out easily.
    I have not tried mopping, so I cannot give an opinion on that.

    The only significant negative aspect, and the reason for the 3 stars, is that sometimes it loses its base (places it in a different spot on the map) when it starts and confuses the cleaning. I don't know if it's a software issue or due to the space because there are frequent changes in the layout of the area due to boxes, etc., and it might get confused.

    Purchased from an international website in October 2021 on sale for €150. It is worth buying up to €200, beyond that, you can go for better models of Xiaomi with greater autonomy and mopping function.

    Excellent vacuum cleaner. Definitely value for money...you can create multiple maps for multiple floors, and you can customize the maps you create. It has 5 levels of suction, the first one being silent and the noise increases as you go up. The cleaning is very decent. The dustbin definitely needs to be emptied after each cleaning because it also has a built-in water tank, so it's a bit small. It's good to use demineralized water to prevent the tubes from getting clogged with salt. Lastly, I noticed that the consumables are more expensive compared to other Xiaomi vacuums. That's it. Definitely a very good purchase for anyone who wants a robot vacuum cleaner. And the most important thing: We have 2 cats and a dog at home, and it has handled it perfectly...that says it all.

    I bought it for office use, I tried it at home as well.

    In the office (a space without carpets and with few obstacles) it does a perfect job of vacuuming and mopping with easy preparation and cleaning of the bin.

    At home, it is probably more suitable for "maintenance" until the next thorough cleaning, rather than replacing human cleaning. The main reason is the small size of the bin, which means that it either needs to vacuum in sections with emptying in between, or it needs to be used almost daily to prevent the house from getting too dusty.

    TL;DR in a small or medium space with few obstacles, it can handle vacuuming/mopping entirely. In a large space with obstacles, it is good for maintenance between major cleanings.

    Excellent purchase, especially if you find it on sale. However, the sensor software needs improvement. The vacuum easily moves around the low-height carpet in the living room to clean. But it gets confused with dark colors and goes crazy. It would get stuck in certain areas of the carpet and say (with a voice message) that the sensors are malfunctioning, so I had to restart the mapping process three times to figure out why it was getting blocked. So, being a smart man, I placed chairs and anything else I could use to block access to the dark areas, and finally, the house mapping was completed. Also, be careful with USB cables, headphones, etc., as the brush pulls them and takes them for a ride.
