When you press the buttons to open it, the lights blink twice and you hold it down for 5-6 seconds!! Because I also have the Rode mono, which opens in 2 seconds, I thought it was broken.
It does something even weirder.... The more charged it is, the faster it turns on. So if you have been using it for half an hour and then try to open it again, it takes 8 seconds to open!!
It is very good, the internal recording in 32bit Float saved me...!!!

Much greater range and sound quality. Longer battery life, as well as adapters for Android and iPhone included in the package. Since I got them, the Rode ones are gathering dust on a shelf!! The microphones are great, I come from Rodelink Filmmaker and the size difference is extremely convenient, especially for use with an iPhone. I definitely recommend buying the sc-15 cable if you plan on using it with a mobile device, as the sound quality is significantly better. It never peaks with this cable, as the iPhone automatically adjusts the microphone sensitivity, unlike with a Jack cable. The only negative thing I have noticed is that when I use it inside a car, there are some interferences (the voice sounds robotic for 1-2 seconds). For outdoor use, it is excellent and the signal never cuts out.

I had seen reviews before I bought it and they convinced me... I got it and it's a tool especially for YouTube and Live Streaming that doesn't exist! Clean sound, super easy setup, you also get the SC-15 and SC-16 cables to connect it directly to iPhone & iPad Pro and record the sound normally on the video. So you save on mixing! I also got 2 cases that make them (appear) like regular journalistic microphones and nothing can stop me! Everything in one tidy package!
