DPF particulate filter, reinforced with silicon carbide (SiC) for better thermal resistance properties and durability. The DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) is a device installed in the exhaust system of diesel vehicles to reduce soot emissions, meeting European and Greek emission standards that were applied to passenger cars from 2009 based on Euro 5 specifications.

The filter captures toxic, microscopic particles emitted with exhaust gases, reducing harmful particulate emissions by 80%. Regular regeneration of the DPF is necessary to avoid clogging of the filter's operation.
