The Melitta® Calibra is an electric coffee grinder with a built-in scale that can grind fresh coffee measured with gram precision.
The interior of the Calibra grinder is a durable steel conical grinder. It grinds with precision and uniformity.
An innovative feature of the Calibra worth mentioning is the built-in digital scale. Thanks to this scale, you can grind your coffee with gram precision.
There are 39 variable grinding settings from coarse to fine. For espresso preparation, a finer grinding setting is recommended (level 1-5). If you love filter coffee, you can choose a grinding setting in the medium range (level 6-26). For preparing coffee with a French press, a coarser grinding setting (level 27-39).
Thanks to the integrated tare button with zero setting function and the high coffee grinding outlet, you can grind directly and comfortably into a Melitta® 1x4® filter. Alternatively, you can also grind directly into a portafilter.
The Calibra offers three different grinding programs. For those who seek convenience, we recommend the automatic grinding of the correct amount for one or more cups of coffee (grinding program "Number of cups"). If you know exactly how much coffee you need for the best taste, then you can choose the grinding program that offers gram precision (grinding program "Weight"). Alternatively, you can manually adjust the amount of coffee with the grinding time (grinding program "Manual").
The various grinding programs and their settings are easily selected with the inclined control panel with an LCD screen.
You can fill the bean container with up to 375 g of coffee beans. It is easily removable for cleaning.
The coffee collection container has a capacity of up to 200 g and is removable.
The Calibra stores the last settings, even after the power cord is disconnected.
